Another beautiful Vermont running day

Thursday was just a stunning sunny day at Smuggler’s Notch resort in Vermont. When I finally got out for my run it was a chilly -7 degrees celcius (about 19F) and running up Mountain Road was a little difficult. Not just because of the slick snowy roads, but because of all the food and fudge and apple cider donuts from the Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Waterbury…oh my.  Needless to say it wasn’t a spectacular run. I only ran a little over 2k and about 61m of elevation, but the scenery was breathtaking. I couldn’t resist posting a few more pictures for you to enjoy. What a beautiful place to visit and run!

  1. A short run makes me almost hyper-sensitive to the surrounding beauty. You sure captured it well in the photos. Thanks!
